The most recent DXCC Honour Roll listing was published in the August 2001 issue of QST, the official magazine of the ARRL. Standings include submissions up to 31 March this year.

DXCC Honour Roll membership is restricted to those DXCC members that need less than ten countries confirmed. Totals do not include credit for deleted countries. There are now 334 countries, and at least 325 current credits are needed to make it onto the Honour Roll.

North Korea remains the one country that eludes most DXers. Not a single North American has worked this country! On both CW and Phone, the leading stations have worked all countries. On RTTY, the top station (I5FLN) is still a few countries short.

The first South African has yet to appear on the CW list. Although one station did make it onto the HR last year, the addition of several new countries caused him to drop off again before the annual list was compiled. Perhaps, with better-timed submissions, the first South African will appear on the CW Honour Roll in 2002. On both Phone and Mixed, the top South Africans need four countries, and five stations are shown on each of these lists. On RTTY, no ZS is even close; the top station is still below 170, barely above the half-way mark!

A few changes have taken place since last year. ZS6YQ joins ZS6EZ at the top of the Mixed list, and each list has grown from four to five members. ZS5NK has appeared on the Mixed list, and ZS6EZ has been added on Phone.

As expected, Van van der Watt ZS6LW remains on the list for the time being. As no new countries are expected to be added to the list soon, Van is expected to remain on the Honour Roll for several years to come. He is still the only South African ever to have reached the top rung, a position he occupied for most of the Eighties.
